My name is Steve from BMF School Of Motoring an independent and local driving school offering expert and friendly tuition at competitive prices.
All tuition is carried out on a one to one basis by myself an ex police advanced driver and motorcyclist. The advantages of this are, that all tuition is carried out by the same instructor using the same vehicle from the very first lesson through to passing the practical driving test (subject to a three yearly change of vehicle) and even going on to post test training such as Pass Plus courses, Motorway tuition etc. Please see services page for examples of services offered and pricing structures.
My catchment area is Darlington, Bishop Auckland and Newton Aycliffe also covering all surrounding towns and villages.
Encouragement and assistance is offered with both theory and hazard perception tests using lap top computers and other visual training aids.
Manoeuvres are made easy by using accurate reference points, in car photography and student lesson notes.
My promise to clients is that I will have them ready for there practical driving test as quickly and as cheaply as possible but without cutting corners so that when they pass that test they are confident and able to safely deal with any traffic situation they may come across.

PLEASE NOTE
Where a first lesson is required on a particular day for example a 17th birthday, it is advisable to book approximately 6 weeks in advance to avoid disappointment. There is no need to wait for a provisional licence to be returned prior to booking lessons but a provisional licence is required before practical tuition can commence. It is advisable to apply in advance for the provisional licence. You may also start learning to drive before you have passed the theory test but it is also advisable to study for the theory test whilst undergoing practical tuition.
